A straight brow with a lower arch will create the illusion of a shorter face. To a lower brow arch, resist the urge to over pluck the lower brow. Use a Slant Tip Tweezer to shape the upper brow and remove any stray hairs between brows. Use a Pointed Tip Tweezer to remove outlying hairs from the lower brow. For thicker brows, brush up and out to shape. Trim any brow hairs that extend beyond the upper brow arch. For thinner brows, add texture and volume by brushing brows opposite their direction with a brow brush. If necessary, fill the bottom of the brow to lower the arch using a Brow Pencil stroke upward towards the top of the brow. This will give the shape a straighter look.
An oval face shape is best suited with round, fuller brows. The trick to full brows is to not over pluck. Use a Pointed Tip Tweezer to remove any stray hairs that fall outside a natural arch shape. For thicker brows, brush up and out to shape. Trim any brow hairs that extend beyond the brow arch. For thinner brows, add texture and volume by brushing brows opposite their direction with a brow brush. Then smooth to shape with a spoolie or comb. Define the shape with a brow pencil by outlining each brow creating a soft arch, then fill in sparse areas with the oval tip for the pencil.
The angles of a heart shaped face look best with a softer, thicker, rounded brow. Use a Pointed Tip Tweezer to remove any stray hairs that fall outside a natural arch shape. For thicker brows, brush up and out to shape. Trim any brow hairs that extend beyond the brow arch. For thinner brows, add texture and volume by brushing brows opposite their direction with a brow brush. Use a Brow Pencil to define the lower and upper brow to create a rounded arch. Using short brush strokes, fill brows for additional depth and round the inner part of the brow. Ensure to avoid any blunt angles or edges when shaping brows.
Bring definition and length to the face by accentuating the height of the brow’s arch. Fuller brows will also help balance the face, so be careful not to over pluck. Use a Slant Tip Tweezer to shape the brow removing hair to create a high upper and low arch. Use a Pointed Tip Tweezer to remove fine hairs from the lower brow. Brush brows up and out to shape and trim any brow hairs that extend beyond the brow arch. Then smooth to shape with a spoolie or comb. Using a Brow Pencil mark where you want the high point of your arch. Then outline and define the upper and lower brow creating a more defined point at the arch. With light pencil strokes, fill in the brow as needed.
