Soak fingers & toes in warm water to soften nails & cuticles. Gently loosen & push back cuticles with the cuticle pusher. Position either cuticle scissors or nipper along the cuticle line & trim dead cuticle skin, being careful not to cut live skin. Fingernails: Cut fingernails at an angle with the nail clipper. Trim one side & then the other to avoid putting pressure on center of nail. Toenails: Cut straight across the free edge. When nails are dry, shape the free edge by filing from corner to center of nail in one direction only. Use the cuticle pusher to clean under the nail tip.
